Get ready for an unforgettable holiday experience at the Lagniappe Luncheon: A Chinoiserie Christmas. This year’s event promises elegance, inspiration, and a touch of surprise—all brought to life over two days of shopping, inspiration, and celebration. Guests will explore dazzling tablescapes created by local designers and vendors, paired with chinoiserie planters overflowing with seasonal beauty. Décor you’ll want to take home and enjoy all season long will set the stage for a truly memorable experience.
Guests will enjoy a four-course meal with expertly paired drinks, featuring Honey Bee Spirits, a Houston-based vodka company founded by two Junior League sustainers. They’ll be joining us with recipes and treats designed to elevate your own holiday entertaining.
The celebration continues with a menu prepared by sustainer Debbie Bando of Bando’s Catering, while sustainer Janey Phelan lends her creative touch to the décor. League member Mattie Phelan completes the scene with breathtaking holiday floral arrangements, tying together the chinoiserie planters and curated tablescapes.
This festive luncheon will leave you inspired for the season ahead while unveiling exciting surprises for our guests.
Bams, Cracks & Cocktails

The celebration begins the evening before the luncheon with Bams, Cracks & Cocktails, a spirited gathering inspired by the timeless game of Mahjong. Guests will enjoy a festive night of friendly play, light bites, and holiday sparkle at the Event Centre Beaumont. Whether you’re a first-time player eager to learn or a seasoned pro who loves the rhythm of Bams, Cracks, and Dots, this event promises laughter, camaraderie, and a touch of competition. Coaches will be on hand for beginners, while timed rounds and fun prizes keep the evening lively for all. With seasonal cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect prelude to the Lagniappe Luncheon: A Chinoiserie Christmas.
The event takes place Thursday, November 6, 2025. Doors open at 5:30 PM, play begins at 6:00 PM, and the evening concludes at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $75 per guest, with special prizes that are sure to leave you in the giving spirit.
